Basics of viaSocket
viaSocket helps you automate repetitive tasks across your apps without writing code.
Instead of manually moving data, sending updates, or performing the same tasks repeatedly, you can create a Flow that performs them automatically.
For example, you can:
Send a WhatsApp message when a customer places an order.
Send a Slack message when a new lead is added to Google Sheets.
Create a CRM contact when a form is submitted.
Once your Flow is live, it runs automatically whenever its configured trigger occurs.
What is a Flow?
A Flow is an automation that runs a sequence of steps to accomplish a specific task.
A Flow typically starts with a Trigger and then performs one or more Actions or other steps.
Trigger
A Trigger is the event that starts a Flow.
Examples:
A new row is added to Google Sheets.
A new email arrives in Gmail.
A customer submits a form.
A scheduled time is reached.
A webhook is triggered.
Action
An Action is a task performed by a Flow.
Examples:
Send an email.
Create a contact.
Send a Slack message.
Update a record.
Run an AI Agent.
A Flow can contain multiple steps depending on what you want to automate.
