viaSocket Help

Basics of viaSocket

viaSocket helps you automate repetitive tasks between your apps without writing code.

Instead of manually moving data, sending updates, or performing the same actions over and over, you can create a Flow that does the work for you automatically.

For example, you can:

  • Send a WhatsApp message when a customer places an order

  • Send a Slack message when a new lead is added to Google Sheets

  • Create a CRM contact when a form is submitted

Once your Flow is active, it runs automatically in the background.

#

What is a Flow?

A Flow is an automation that connects two or more apps.

Every Flow consists of two basic parts:

#

Trigger

A Trigger is the event that starts a Flow.

Examples:

  • A new row is added to Google Sheets

  • A new email arrives in Gmail

  • A customer submits a form

#

Action

An Action is the task performed after the Trigger occurs.

Examples:

  • Send an email

  • Create a contact

  • Post a Slack message
