Basic of viaSocket

What is viaSocket?
viaSocket connects your apps and automates repetitive tasks — no coding required.
You pick a Trigger (something that happens in one app) and an Action (something viaSocket does in another app as a result). That combination is called a Flow.

How it works

[ Trigger ] ──→ [ Action ] ──→ [ Result ]

No manual work. Once the Flow is live, it runs on its own every time the trigger event occurs.

What viaSocket is built for

  • Automating repetitive work between apps

  • Running multi-step workflows without writing code

  • Connecting 2,000+ apps including Gmail, Slack, Notion, WhatsApp, and more

  • Letting AI help you build and manage those workflows

Beyond the basics
Once you're comfortable with Flows, viaSocket also gives you:

  • Built-in Tools — Add logic inside a Flow: delays, multiple paths, custom JavaScript, or API calls. Useful when your automation needs conditions or extra steps beyond a simple trigger → action.

  • Human Intervention — Pause a Flow mid-run and wait for a human to review, approve, or input something before it continues.

  • AI Assistant — Describe what you want to automate in plain language. The AI builds the Flow for you.

  • MCP — Connect AI agents directly to your apps so they can take actions autonomously across 1,000+ tools.

  • Templates — Pre-built Flows you can copy and activate in minutes without starting from scratch.

You don't need any of these to get started. Build your first Flow first — [Make Your First Flow →]
