This automation begins when you want to organize tasks and events around a specific Clio matter. It looks up cases based on the information you provide.
The workflow first searches your Clio account for a matter using the information you have—like number, description, or client name. If it doesn't find it, the workflow stops, saving you time and avoiding duplicate work.
If the matter exists, it adds a new task related to the matter. This includes details like the task name, who it's assigned to, description, and sets the status as "Pending."
Next, it schedules a new calendar event connected to your existing matter and assigns it to the right calendar.
Once everything's ready, you receive an automated email (via Outlook) with all the details—task, event, and status—so you're always in the loop and up-to-date.
