Google Calendar Auto-Call Reminder with Slack Alert

Never miss a reminder call again—this flow auto-dials attendees, updates your table, and pings Slack if the call isn’t picked up. ✅

Trigger Event

When a new or updated Google Calendar event is detected, the flow starts. It uses the first attendee’s email to locate their record in your viaSocket Table.

Actions

• The flow looks up the attendee in your viaSocket Table using their email from the calendar event.
• If a phone number exists, it places an automated reminder call via FreJun to that attendee.
• It waits 5 minutes to allow the call to complete.
• The flow fetches the latest FreJun call records to see what happened.
  • If the call was answered (duration > 0), it updates the attendee’s row in your viaSocket Table to mark “Reminder Delivered” and adds a short remark.
  • If the call wasn’t answered, it posts a clear message in your chosen Slack channel with event details, the attendee’s contact, call status, and a prompt to follow up.
• If no phone number is found in the table, the flow safely stops without changes.
